Graded Care Profile 2

Target Audience

This training is aimed at Social Workers and Early Help workers in Children’s Services and safeguarding within education.

Aim

The Graded Care Profile 2 is an evidenced based tool which can be used to evaluate the levels of parental care. In Blackpool, this is the tool which professionals are advised to use to consider the forms of neglect which a child may be experiencing. This is a licensed tool and as such to be able to use the tool you need to attend the full day’s training.

Objectives

• Become licensed to use the GCP2
• Share knowledge in relation to neglect
• Share information about support available following the completion of the training when undertaking GCP2 with families
